Joseph Paur (born June 30, 1954) is a native of Utah. He lived in Los Angeles for 20 years pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, and had the opportunity to work with such greats as Plácido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti, Julie Taymour, Erica Van Stata, Academy Award winner Herbert Ross, Gearge Hern, Andy Garcia and many other wonderfully gifted artists. Joseph was a member of Los Angeles Opera Co. at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. He performed with the Michigan Opera, Opera Pacific and Los Angeles Music Theatre Opera. His lead roles include Cavaradossi in "Tosca", Alfredo in "La Traviata", and Turidu in "Cavalaria Rusticana". He performed in the back-up chorus for the "Three Tenor Concert" at Dodger Stadium and considers it to be one of the highlights of his life. Joseph has a lifelong love for musical theatre and has performed professionally in "Sweeney Todd", "South Pacific", "Camelot", "Carousel", "Kismet", "Civil War", "Fanny", "1856 The Musical", and most recently Carriere in "Phantom". He is known for his work in several films for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fans around the world recognize him for his role as Mr. Ribaldi, in the film ''Rigoletto'', a 1993 musical fantasy/drama produced for Feature Films for Families.
